Coe had just returned from his shift on the bridge and felt a little energetic. He needed to expel some of his energy and at the moment he could think of little things better for that purpose than to workout on one of his Holodeck programs. He choose one of his Klingon scenario's and began to head toward the holodeck, whilst halfway down the hallway, Coe realised that Commander Jamson was quite a martial artist and decided to offer Jamson an invitation to join Coe on the holodeck.
" Coe to Jamson." Coe tapped his comm badge prior to saying it.
" Jamson here." Coe could here the soft background music and chatter and realised that Jamson was in ten-forward.
" Commander, I was wondering if you would like to join me on the holodeck and we could test out one of my new scenarios, I have been told you have a passion for Klingon holodeck programs?"
" I would be glad to Lt, meet me on deck 2 in 5 minutes."
" Yes Sir."
" Jamson out."
Coe tapped his comm badge and continued down the hall toward the turbolift.

The lift stopped and the doors swung open. Coe stepped out and walked toward the holodeck. He saw Commander Jamson already waiting for him outside holodeck1 and so as he neared the ships first officer, he forwarded an apology.
" Commander, Im sorry Im late" Coe arrived at the Commanders side.
" Dont be Lt. Im early." Coe nodded his head and walked up to holodeck computer terminal.
" Computer," The voice activated computer system kicked in with a few soft beeps and after hearing this, Coe continued. " Initiate holodeck program Alpa 356, Lt Coe's personel library."
Coe looked over at the patiently waiting Commander and smiled, before turning back to the computer terminal.
"Holdeck program complete, enter when ready." The computers voice stated. Coe looked at the Commander and smiled.
" You ready for some action Commander?"
" I was born ready!" Jamson smiling with a determined look on his face as he said it.
Coe motioned toward the door with his arm and both the officers stepped into the holodeck where the dirty, underground streets of Qo, Nos, the Klingon homeworld, awaited them. Coe took one last look at the certainty of the Galaxy before steping in, where an adventure of action and physical excertion stood them in the face.

Lieutenant junior grade Sterner left the office of Lieutenant Samanka after their session. He felt somewhat relieved and after a long time he had the feeling that his nightmares of the past may be gone. But Lieutenant Samanka insisted that they should have some more sessions, at least two more that week. He was sure that after some time Joerg would be freed completely of his troubling thoughts.
Joerg went back to his quarters, ordered some food and drink and after eating and drinking the ordered fell into his bed and was quickly asleep. It has been a hard day at the office, because he wasn't used to do so much "paperwork" and reading.
The next day he awoke with the feeling that he only had in his childhood, before the incident at his parents' tavern. Happily he went to the bathroom, took a shower and consumed his breakfast. Relaxed he left his quarters to go to his office.
There he checked his mails, but found nothing of real interest. Then he asked for today's schedule and was reminded by the computer that at 900 hours a security meeting at holodeck 3 was planned. He checked the time and found that there was still some time left. So he looked up the holodeck programs, that he wanted to introduce to his team. He was pleased with his choice of elements in them, so after that he left his office and went to a turbolift.
After arriving at the correct floor he already saw some security officers waiting in front of a holodeck.
"All right ladies and gentlemen, let's go inside." he greeted the crowd. They all entered the holodeck and waited till all have arrived.
"Let's start with this one." Joerg welcomed the whole group of security officers.
"I have invited you all here because I thought it might be a good idea for security officers to test and train their abilities in many different situations. Therefore I have created and adapted some holodeck programs of mine in that way. I will demonstrate you now what I mean."
He stopped, turned his head and spoke to the computer.
"Initiate program security-alpha12."
"Program complete." answered the computer.
"Start program and create a long sword for me." Joerg ordered the computer.
Suddenly the requested item appeared in his hands.
"Ladies and gentlemen. This program was created to test and improve your abilities with weapons other then your phaser. Just state a weapon and the computer will create that object for you. In addition an enemy with the same weapon will appear and you can fight him." he explained to his security team pointing at the computer created fighter, that appeared the moment Joerg got his sword.
"Computer, difficulty level 2. Start program." Joerg told the computer.
Without any further notice the fighter suddenly began to move towards him and attacked him. They fought for some moments but Joerg, being an expert in swordplay, quickly overcame the threat.
After that he showed the crowd the rest of his programs, including some survival training program, actually an altered version of his famous 'escape the castle' program.
"I have added a feature to all of the programs I have shown you. It automatically records some data about the results and the user for further studies. I would like to see you all use these programs at least once a week. Are there any questions?"
Since nobody had anything to add to his speech he dismissed them all. After all were gone he left the holodeck and returned to his office.
The rest of the day he spent doing the usual. In the afternoon he had another meeting with Lieutenant Samanka and after that concluded his day like the days before.
The following days he spent most of the time studying and commenting the results of the security officers, who used his programs. He came to the conclusion that it was after all a good idea that he introduced his team to the programs and that they surely will improve their skills soon.

The Captain had spent the last few days catching up on his paperwork, and relaxing on the Holodeck. Having all ready received the orders for the Galaxy's next assignment, the Captain had just one more thing to attend to before leaving the planet Trill.
Making his way to Transporter Room 2, Captain Price beamed down to the Trill home world to visit, and say good bye to his former First Officer, the Symbiot Gael. After visiting for several hours, the Captain finally beamed back up to the USS Galaxy.
"Good job Chief." the Captain commented to the Transporter operator. He was carrying a small package in his hand as he stepped off of the transporter pads.
"Thank you sir. What's in the bag, if you don't mind my asking?"
The Captain glanced down, then back at the Chief. "Just a small something for the Doctor." The Captain them made his way to Sickbay.
Things were definitely better than the last time Captain Price had visited. Only a couple of the Bio beds were in use, and the triage of patients that were out in the halls were now back on duty. Thanks to the work of the good Doctor Rousseau and staff.
A couple of the staff nurses smiled when the Captain walked in. He nodded as he made his way to the Chief Medical Officer's office.
"I see things are back to normal around here." the Captain said with a smile in his voice.
Jacqueline looked up over the pile of paperwork on her desk. Her hair was slightly a mess as she blew a loose strand of hair out of her way with a puff of breath. It seems the Doctor was allowed the luxury of shore leave. "Yes, things are almost normal again. I'm just about finished logging all of these medical reports."
Jacqueline sat back in her chair, realizing that she was addressing the Captain, and not wanting to sound as if she was complaining about the work.
"Well I wanted to thank you for all of the hard work you've done over the past couple of days. I just got back from Trill. Gael is recovering nicely. She,... that is He, suggested that I bring you a small token of my, and his, appreciation." Captain Price handed the package to Doctor Rousseau.
The Doctor looked up at the Captain as she took the package, wondering what on earth it could be that Gael would have suggested. As she opened it up, her eyes grew as she saw what it was.
"Giant Strawberries!" Jacqueline held one up and admired the ripe red berry.
"Yes. They have a blend of Strawberries on Trill that grow to be very large. Gael said of all the things he could think of, this was probably the gift you'd like most."
Doctor Rousseau smiled and nodded, not being able to respond with a mouth full of juicy, Trill Strawberries. She rolled her eyes and just melted back in the chair, unable to do anything but savor the flavor.
Captain Price smiled and laughed. It seemed Gael had selected the perfect gift for the Doctor. "I will be sure to let Gael know that you liked the Strawberries."
Jacqueline just nodded as she began licking the Strawberry juice off her fingers. Captain Price nodded, and then turned to leave.
Exiting sickbay, the Captain made his way to his quarters. He had a few things he needed to gather up there before reporting to the bridge. When he arrived, he began to gather up his reports and PADD as he touches his comm badge to signal the bridge.
"Captain Price to Bridge."
"Lieutenant T'Lein here Captain."
"I just want to make sure everyone has reported back in from shore leave. We will be breaking orbit for our next assignment within the hour."
"Yes Sir. I will check with Lieutenant Sterner, but I believe everyone is back on board."
"Very good. I will be on the bridge shortly. Captain Price out."
The Captain continued to gather up his things, then exited his quarters in
route for the main bridge.
After gaining some time in subspace, we arrived at Trill with a reasonable amount of time left, and Gael was joined with another initiate without complication.
Commander Shelby’s condition has not improved at all. He still cannot remember anything about his family, Starfleet, or himself. The best thing I can do for him is recommend that he be sent to Terys IV. Starfleet Medical’s head trauma experts have some interesting treatment options there, and if anyone can help Shelby, it’s the people on that outpost.
"End log."
Jacqueline leaned back in her chair and sighed. That was it. All the reports had been filed, all the patients were alive and conscious. And, unless life decided to be *really* unfair, she finally had some free time.
"Hi Danny. I know I’ve been quiet lately, but you wouldn’t believe how hectic things have gotten recently. You asked me how I was adjusting in your last transmission. I really do like it here. The ship itself is gorgeous, the crew is one of the bet I’ve ever seen, and my staff has absolutely shone. It’s a lot of work to be CMO, but I *do* like it. I can run things the way *I* feel they should be run. It’s something you’ll be able to relate to when you have your own science department.
"So tell me, how is your final year as a cadet going? It’s great to be a Senior, isn’t it? Have you seen Mom?
"I’ve got to go. Throw a message out this way when you can, okay?"
Jacqueline gave one last smile. "End message. Send to Cadet First Class Daniel Rousseau, Starfleet Academy, Earth."
The computer made a few chirping noises, then was quiet.
Jacqueline made her way to the reclining chair beside her bed. After settling in, she picked up the book she had begun three weeks ago and started to read.

***T'Nevin stopped to think***
That's today. Death could not have been natural, for he was just over my age...The Trill mainfraime says that he is missing and presumed dead, but that does not make it so. Hmmm....
T'Nevin taps into Trill's public access files and requests the research and work of Dr. Loren Omar. He then looks at his watch. 18:42:32. He is to meet Mai in the observation suite. He feels there is no time for shore leave, and besides, what would he do? He puts on his casual clothes and cleans up. On his way out the door, he taps his comm badge.
"T'Nevin to Ensign K'saol"
"K'saol here,"
"Cancel the meeting with the doctor and return all specimens to your lab please." T'Nevin is on his way to the turbolift.
"Roger. But may I ask why?"
"No. I have no time to discuss this. I'll talk with you later. Meet me in my ready room after Alpha shift tomorrow. Something's not right."
***Ten Forward***
T'Nevin walks into a rather crowded Ten Forward and makes his way to the bar.
"Excuse me. Do you have a reservation for an observation suite under the name of Vo or T'Nevin?"
The bartender looks at a PADD behind the counter. "Sure do. Number 4. And the young lady that reserved it! Boy! When she walked through here, I think all the men's heads turned!"
"Mai's always making a spectacle of herself," T'Nevin thought to himself. "Thank you." And with that, he makes off to the observation suite.
***Observation suite #4***
The doors slide open and T'Nevin walks in. The room is barely lit by a candle in the middle of the room. A stunning figure stands next to the observation window. The window is filled with passing stars and the Trill homeworld in view.
"Thought you'd never make it. Come here, you..."
T'Nevin slowly walks over to her as she puts her arms around him. At that instant, the doors of the observation suite swoosh open and the lights come on. T'Nevin looks towards the door.
"Donovan!!!" Mai stands in the doorway, a shocked look all over her face. T'Nevin turns to stare right into the face of none other than... Susan Darma!?
T'Nevin steps away from Susan. Mai picks up a vase with flowers in it near the door and hurl them at him. They crash on the floor next to him. He begins to walk towards Mai.
"Stay away from me!" she angrily yells as she turns and storms out of the room. Susan puts a hand on his shoulder and turns him around.
"Forget about her, T'Nevin. Now it's just us."
T'Nevin grabs a hold of her face and pushes her onto the couch and walks out of the room.

Coe peered into the dark passageway that was situated to his left. It looked deserted and so he looked toward Commander Jamson and made a rolling motion with his hand, indicating the coast was clear. The dark, back streets of Qo, Nos were seedy and quite disgusting, a perfect place for an ambush, there was very little light and all that could be heard was the tap, tap tapping of the dripping water. Garbage littered the side's of the streets and some sort of creature, similar to the Earth's rat, scurried to gain some cover.
Jamson moved forward cautiously, taking slow, meaningful steps, his eyes open and alert as he moved. Jamson paused, moved his head from side to side and once again motioned Coe forward. Attempting to mimic Jamson's movements, Coe noticed something move out of the corner of his eye, He quickly and efficiently swung his head around whilst diving for cover in the process, Jamson was not far behind as the two starfleet officers, no longer wearing their uniforms but simple civilian clothing, dived for cover. After getting himself safely out of view.
Coe looked up cautiously at the suspected area, the weak glow of the street lights offered little assistants and due to the high levels of Pollution, the two moons belonging to the Klingon homeworld offered little light. Coe strained to see what it was, but could make out nothing. He looked at Jamson who nodded slowly, the two officers slowly got up, Jamson moving around in an attempt to flank the suspected area, using Coe as a decoy. Coe moved slowly in a direct line toward the area, whilst Jamson slowly drifted out of site in the corner of his eye.
As Coe was nearing the area, he picked up the movement again, he strained his eyes once more to see what it was and after a little bit of effort, Coe suddenly made out the silhouette of a large Klingon man. Coe sprung into action as not one, but two men came rushing at him, Coe was well trained in the attacking methods of the Klingon's but he was still caught by suprise as the two men closed in on him. He twisted out of the way, placing his foot down in front of one of the mens path, The klingon went sprawling as he tripped over Coe's foot, the still standing man grabbed Coe by the arm, attempting to break it whilst doing so, Coe quickly manoeuvred himself and through the Klingon over his shoulder, Coe paused briefly to look around.
" Where is Jamson?" Coe thought to himself, but in doing so had dropped his guard, the two Klingons had recovered sooner than Coe had expected, and Coe never saw the two Klingon's creeping up behind him, not until one of them placed Coe in a head brace, blocking Coe's wind pipe, his air beginning to run out...........

The USS Galaxy has been assigned as escort to a Tholian delegation scheduled for meetings with the Federation Council on Rigel 7. They are to open negotiations for admittance to the Federation of Planets. Starfleet command wants the crew of the USS Galaxy to make a good impression. I've ordered full dress uniforms for when we rendezvous with the Tholian ship to transport the delegation on board. Lieutenant T'Lein and Lieutenant Sterner will make the necessary environmental adjustments to the Tholian's quarters.
"Computer. Close Log."
The Computer complied to the Captain's orders. Price stood up and exited his ready room as he stepped onto the bridge of the USS Galaxy.
The Captain gave everyone on the bridge a quick glance before walking over to the new Chief Helmsman, Ti Miran, and handing her his Padd.
"Ensign Ti, plot a course for these coordinates."
"Aye sir." the Bajoran replied as she took the Padd and punched in the proper numbers into her console. "Course plotted and laid in Captain." She handed the Padd back to Price.
The Captain took the Padd and smiled as he took a few steps back to his chair and sat down.
"Do it 'mate. Warp factor 5".
Ensign Ti activated the Galaxy's controls and the ship made the jump to warp speed. As the ship steadied off at warp 5, Lieutenant T'Lein turns around from his station at Ops to address the Captain.
"Sir. If you will allow me, I would like to attend to readying the Tholian's quarters." T'Lein's proper Vulcan pronunciations put a slight smile on the Captain's face.
"Of course Lieutenant." The Captain replied.
"Thank you Captain. I will be working with Lieutenant Sterner should you need me." T'Lein began to stand up as he said it, preparing to take leave of the bridge.
"That will be fine Lieutenant." The Captain waited until T'Lein had walked past, on his way to the turbolift before adding, "And remember, I want full dress uniforms when the Tholian's beam aboard."
T'Lein just nodded as he continued to the turbolift. Over at Science station one, Lieutenant T'Nevin furrowed his Romulan brow as he frowned. Dress uniforms are not his favorite attire.
As The turbolift doors closed, Captain Price turned his attention to Lieutenant Coe standing at the tactical arch. "Lieutenant Coe, estimated time to rendezvous with the Tholian ship?"
Coe looked at his tactical controls before answering. He wanted to be sure to give the Captain an accurate estimate. "At our present speed, we should rendezvous with the Cyonia in ten hours, fourteen minutes."
Captain Price nodded at Coe's answer. "Just in time for dinner." He said as
he sat back in his chair and began reviewing the ships records on the Tholians.
"I will tell you again, NO!" replies Capizzi.
"Where is it?"
"On a transport vessel."
"Get it for me!"
"Why?"
"The green gem in the middle can be used to make a super weapon."
"The others said it was for religious beliefs."
"They lie, If you had ultimate power would you tell your enemy?"
"I suppose not"
"I will trade this pendant for it."
"I'll see."
(Sean Vesce's Funeral)
"....and he shalt be missed by all who new him." Capizzi says
mournfully.
(Later in the original transport area some Yridians are hasseling the
officers he traded the amulet to.)
"Knock it off Yridian scum." yells Capizzi.
They beam up startled.
"Thank you."
"You are welcome, give me the amulet, the box you gave me is full of stones."
"Sorry we needed the gem for a..."
"Super weapon?"
"No, for a medical tool."
Then the sound of transporters fill the area. Four Romulans are standing around. One of them, in a demanding voice says "Give me the amulet."
"We don't have it." they both say.
Then the Yridians beam down. Then the Brikar and some of his buddies come. Then some Nausicanns. Then some Klingons. They all want the amulet. Another officer from the transport ship beams down. holding the amulet in his hand. Steve grabs it and runs like a bat out of hell. Everyone starts to chase him. He stops turns around and says "Who will give me what for this amulet?"
The Romulans offer octicrystals. Then heavy footsteps. Steve turns around.
"How 'bout your life" a Ferengi is standing with weapons in the arms of his five friends. Steve ducks and people die and beams of light from all different weapons fly.
"STOP!, what is the bid?" Steve yells.
"Twenty-five bars of gold pressed latinum.
"This pendant"
"five bars latinum and some octicrystals."
"Why dont we join and share the gem, it's obviously what we all want."
"Ok, they all agree."
"Here you go."
"Thanks, I guess, how about the one with the best idea gets the amulet or the one who is left standing after a hand to hand battle?" Steve suggests then runs away. Steve puts on the pendant and fells a strange tingling. He checks the time on his watch. "Three o'clock!, I have to be on the Nebula in fifteen minutes!!"
Steve gets pack and he and Paul say goodbye.
"Energize"
(Ten - Forward on the U.S.S. Nebula)
"Lt JG Capizzi?"
"Yea"
The U.S.S. Galaxy will be rendezvousing with us in five minutes.
(The U.S.S Galaxy)
"Hello Captain"
"Hello Steve, good to have you back.
"Good to be back sir, oh I brought this."
Steve pulls out a square case and gives it to Captain Price. He opens it and inside is a one-inch thick stake. "It was designed for a BBQ," Capizzi interupts, "maybe you can use a phaser to cook it." Steve laughs,"The replicators are alright but this is fresh from a deli on Earth and it should make your taste-buds dance and sing."
"Thanks"

after a shower and a quick meal Steve Heads to Engineering.

"Nathan, I recently read that you don't like making friens for fear of a
mistake, let me tell you about the time I tried to increase power on the
outpost I was on."
Ti was nervous. It was her first shift on her first assignment. She should have realized when she graduated as best pilot in her class she would have an assignment like the Galaxy. Her class rank could have been better but, oh well.
Captain Price handed her a PADD and told her to lay in a course that would redezvous with a Tholian ship. "Course laid in, Sir.
After her shift, Ti went to finish unpacking. The first thing she unpack was a holo-picture of her finacee. He was presumed dead along with the rest of the crew of the USS Voyager. She wondered what he would say if he could see her now.
She unpacked, took a shower, and headed to explore the ship on which she now served.
Ensign Ti Miran
"Everything looks fine to me" Chief Jensen thought to himself. "I think I might work on a routine cargo transport from Cargo bay one to cargo bay two"
Chief Jensen began started to begin the transport when a Lieutenant Capizzi's voice came across his comm badge "Energize".
As soon as the chief had a lock on the Lieutenatant he ran his fingers up the power grid. The chief then looked up to see if everything was alright. Everything looked fine. About seven seconds later a loud warning beep was heard across the console.
"What the heck" the Chief said out loud. "The lock on the Lieutenant is breaking up" Th chief quickly started to transfer more power to the power grid. This did nothing at all. He quickley pressed his comm badge and yelled "Commander....I loosing the lock on Lieutenant Capizzi.......I think we're gonna lose him"
At that precise time Chief Jensen said "I think we're gonna lose him"....the lock pulled together and the Lieutenant was standing right there on the Transportor pad. "Never mind Commander.....the lieutenant is here safe." The chief turns to Capizzi "Welcome back Sir!" and with that Capizzi leaves the transportor room.
As soon as the doors close Jensen looks over at his console...."everything seems O.K. to me now" and with that the Chief dazes into space thinking about his deceased commander officer and the way he died on the transportor pad; and he says under his breath "That will never happen again as long as I am in here"
Transporter Chief Jensen
Kane laughs then says "I hate dress uniforms so much, I would rather walk on Qo'noS holding a sign saying I hate Klingons." They laugh.
Kane had never felt more relaxed around someone before. He really liked having a friend like Steve, and after hearing Steve's story about the outpost the worst he could do was set off a warp-core breach.
"So, what happened with that gem?" Kane asked. "Well, when the Brikar wanted it I went to a jeweler and told him what I wanted, an hour later I came back and when I ran away from them I took out them gem so they all could see then I swiched them. The real one is right here, "Steve pulls out the gem,"See, I don't care what they are doing with it but I have the real one."
"Computer, time." Steve says.
"The time is 2000 hours."The computer says.
Steve could just imagine the ship about to self destruct the computer would still have that cheerful tone you are all about to die, or Congradulations you have just sentance your ship and crew to death, have a nice day.
He got up and said "I have duty now, see you later."
"Bye" Nathan said.
(Steve's Quarters)
Steve gets Mason some food takes a quick shower puts on
his uniform and heads to Engineering.
(Engineering)
"Sir, there is a fluxuation in the power grid." yelled Hoyt.
Steve pulls out his tricorder and compares readings with the computer. "I can detect it, here" Steve grabs a tool and stops the fluxuating.
"AHHHHHHHHH"
Steve runs to the man screaming. It is N'Tek."AHHHHHHH"
Steve gets down there and Glenn is leadind him out."What happened?" Steve yells.
N'Tek is making painful expressions with his face, His hands trembeling and burnt."It was a plasma fire sir."says Glenn
"Get him to sickbay now!" Steve
says. "Just another day (sigh)."
"First Officer's log : "
"We are currently on our way to rendezvous with the Tholian ship.
Our mission is to escort a Tholian delegation to a meeting with the
Federation of Planets.I hope that everything will ok during our mission...in
particular after our last mission."
Jamson was dressing up for his next shift that was about to start in 15 minutes.
"Full dress uniforms?" Jamson thought to himself and then laughed thinking how the crew must be nervous about this.
Leaving his quarters and entering the nearest turbolift jamson met Ensign Fallows, the Security officer that helped him during the invasion alert.
"Sir!" Ensign Fallows said and stood at attention.
"At ease Ensign" Jamson said with a serious look in his eyes and asked : "How are you Ensign? i came to visit you in sickbay after the invasion was over but the nurse told me that you left."
"I'm ok Sir" The Ensign said with a clear voice and added : "I heard that you got a promotion..."
"Yes...I did?" Jamson said and was suprised by the the Ensign's tone of voice. "Is something wrong with that?" He asked her.
There was silence for a moment and then Ensign Fallows said : "Well...there is a problem if you are getting a promotion because you couldn't "defend" your fellow officer!"
"Are you saying that I wanted Shelby dead so I could get his rank?" Jamson said with a loud voice.
Again there was silence.
"Well, Let me tell you one thing Ensign! Shelby was more then a friend and a First Officer for me...he was like a brother! and you better change your tone before I will fill a report on your behavior!" Jamson shouted.
Ensign Fallows left the turbolift crying while Jamson was on route to the bridge.
****Bridge****
Jamson entered the bridge furious and took his seat near the Captain.
"Problems Mr.Jamson?" Captain Price asked with a smile.
"No Sir" Jamson said with a serious expression on his face and a loud clear voice.
After couple of moments.
"Sir,do we have a new Chief of Helmsman?" Jamson asked The Captain.
"Yes Mr.Jamson, Ensign Miran Ti. Why are you asking?" Captain Price answered.
"No special reason Sir." Jamson replied
Noam Brosh aka Commander Jamson
FO/XO
USS Galaxy.
"And don't you even think about complaining about my landing, you stuck up stick!" The loud ranting followed the Ensign out the hatch, with the ranter right behind. A shabby Tellarite cargo master lumbered out of the shuttle and sauntered up to Mr. Shtik tapping him hard on the chest with his finger. "You better just be greatful that I was even going your way." The ensign continued to stare as the energetic montage continued. "And I better get that transport fee we agreed on! You were stationed out in the middle of nowhere. I bet you haven't got a credit to your name!...Assigned to the Galaxy....You'd be lucky to be assigned to a garbage scow!" Shtik resisted an urge to glance at the shuttle sitting behind the tellarite. Finally, the oration seemed to draw to a close and Shtik waited an additionaly few moments to make sure it was over before replying.
"Thank you for the transport. You will find I have increased the range of your long range scanners by 20% and your navigation sheilds will no longer fluctuate when you encounter thorine particles. Now, would you be kind enough to direct me to the Star Fleet transportation center." The Tellarite responded with a shuffle and a muttered thank you before grunting and pointing toward the heart of town. Shtik thanked him and sauntered off in the suggested direction.
"Hey!" The old cargo master yelled. Shtik stopped and turned. "Good Luck." Shtik raised his hand in the traditional salute.
"Live Long and Prosper, Morchak of Tellar." Morchak grunted again, grabbed his cargo manifests and stormed off toward the port atthority's office.
Shtik continued on his way. He glanced at a passing cronometer. He was very late, he hoped that his ship was still here. The USS Galaxy was finally his dream come true. After being posted at a deepspace observation post for the last two years, this would be his big break...If he could just get aboard her.
The USS Galaxy was right on time for the rendezvous with the Tholian ship Cyonia. Captain Price had ordered everyone to assemble in Shuttle bay 2 in full dress uniform. The Tholians preferred not to use the ships transporter systems, instead opting to bring one of their run-a-bouts.
Captain Price exited his ready room wearing his dress uniform. As he stepped onto the bridge, he could see Counselor Shivok, Lieutenant Coe at Tactical, Lieutenant T'Lein at Ops, Ensign Ti at the Helm and Lieutenant T'Nevin at Science station one all had their dress uniforms on.
Lieutenant T'Nevin was tugging at his collar slightly as he was briefing his newest science officer, Mr. Shtik to take over science station one during beta shift. Ensigns Jiron and Freeman were preparing to take their stations at the Helm and Ops as Captain Price smiled. After looking around, the Captain asked, "Where is Commander Jamson?"
"He already left to make sure everything is set in shuttle bay Captain." Lieutenant Coe said as he made his way to the turbo lift.
"Excellent. Well, let's go then 'mates. The Tholians are waiting on us." Captain Price glanced around as the finely dressed bridge crew began heading to the turbolift. As they reached the turbo lift, the doors opened an Lieutenant Kane stepped out.
"Reporting as ordered Captain." Nathan seemed a bit nervous, as he had never been summoned to the bridge before.
Captain Price smiled warmly. "Relax 'mate. I just thought you'd might like to take the Conn while we greet the Tholian delegation in shuttle bay two."
Lieutenant Kane was surprised, but smiled wide. "I think I can handle that!..." then quickly straightening up slightly, he added, "Sir."
Price just patted him on the shoulder. "You'll do fine 'mate. It's a lot easier than wearing one of these fancy suits."
Kane smiled at the comment and nodded as the senior bridge staff entered the turbo lift in route for shuttle bay two.
As the lift stopped on deck 13, the Captain and company exited and made their way to shuttle bay 2. Commander Jamson was going over some last minute details with Lieutenant Capizzi and Lieutenant Sterner regarding the Tholian's living quarters. Captain Price smiled as he approached them.
"You all look very spiffy!" Glancing around, Price adds, "Where is Doctor Rousseau?"
"She hasn't arrived yet. She said she was on her way." Jamson handed the Padd back to Capizzi as he answered the Captain.
"I hope she gets here on time. There is the Cyonia now." The Captain pointed out the open hangar. Through the faint blue glow of the force field the Tholian ship could just be seen by the naked eye. "Come on, we need to get to the observation area before they send their run-a-bout over."
As everyone makes it back into the observation room, Doctor Jacqueline Rousseau comes hastily in from the main corridor. "I made it!" The Doctor seemed a little rushed.
"Glad you could join us Doctor Rousseau." Captain Price could see Jacqueline adjusting her dress uniform.
"Oh I wouldn't miss this for the world. I am looking forward to meeting the Tholians. I have read all about them in a number of medical journals. It should be quite an experience."
As the senior staff waited for the Tholians to send their run-a-bout over, the entrance to the shuttle bay observation room slides open and Lieutenant Chiron, the Tamarian engineer came walking in.
"Sorry to interrupt Captain."
"That's all right Lieutenant, what is it?"
"Actually Sir, I need to speak with Lieutenant Capizzi about an engineering matter." Chiron glanced over to the Chief of Engineering as he said it. Captain Price understood.
"Certainly. Lieutenant Capizzi, proceed." Captain Price then returned to the observation window to watch as the run-a-bout exited the Tholian ship and began coming towards the Galaxy.
"What is it Chiron?" Lieutenant was curious, as Lieutenant Chiron was an excellent engineer. His performance in his duties over the last month and a half since he joined the crew after being rescued from the USS Hydden had been flawless.
"Actually, Sir, If I can speak with you in private."
Capizzi raised an eyebrow. Then motioned to the back of the room. The two men walked over there.
"Sir it has to do with Ensign Dana..."
Capizzi slapped his forehead, leaving his hand there as he rocked his head back and forth a few times. "Not again..." Capizzi uttered under his breath.
A good 20 meters away, as everyone looks out the observation window of the shuttle bay at the arriving Tholian delegation, Counselor Shivok smiles slightly. Very few things escape his Vulcan ears. Making a mental note to have another talk with Ensign Dana, the Counselor watches as the warning tones in the shuttle bay begin echoing just before the bay is depressurized, and the force field dropped.
Captain Price and his senior staff watch as the Tholian run-a-bout lands safely in the shuttlebay, guided in by a tractor beam and landing gently on the deck surface. The force field is immediately raised as the bay is repressurized and the outer shuttle bay doors begin to close.
"Look, I'll handle Ensign Dana when I am through here. You go back to main engineering while I'm gone. Your in charge down there until I relieve you. Okay Chiron?" Lieutenant Capizzi could tell by the sound of the bay being filled with air that the Tholians had landed. He needed to get back to the greeting party with the rest of the senior staff.
"I understand Lieutenant. I will be in main engineering if you need me." The Tamarian exchanged nods with the Chief of Engineering, and then exited the shuttle bay observation area in route for Engineering.
As the shuttle bay reaches safe levels, the door to the observation area is opened and the senior staff enter and line up to greet the Tholian delegation. Everyone stands in anticipation as the hatch on the Tholian run-a-bout opens and five delegates walk on out.
"Greetings Terrans." The distinct tone of the universal translator used by the Tholian space suits was plainly noticeable.
Coe breath began to ran out, he wasent scared, it was only a holodeck adventure and he was sure the safety would kick in as soon as his vital sign's wavered. The grip on his neck tightened and Coe began to feel dizzy, what was wrong, surely by now the safety would have kicked in and ended the program. Coe struggled to free himself but couldn't the Klingon was too strong. Coe felt faint and his consciousness began to fade. Then, just before Coe blacked out, he felt the grip on his neck disappear, he collapsed to the ground, trying to gather his breath, and as soon as he was feeling compose enough, he looked up and was suprised to see Commander Jamson having fairly little difficulty dealing with his Klingon adversaries, Coe stood up and smiled, he was feeling better and was sure Jamson didn't need his help to finish of the assailants, so Coe just watched. With one last, final, uppercut to the chin, the battle was over and Jamson stood their alone staring down at the two limp bodies on the dirty ground.
Jamson looked up at Coe. Coe smiled at Jamson before asking with a grin,
" What took you so long?"
" Had troubles of my own." Coe left it at that.
" Computer, End program." And the two officers left the holodeck via the door leading to the rest of the ship.
*****Coe's Personnel Quarters******
" Ah......" Coe tried to loosen his dress uniform without compromising appearance but was unsuccessful.
" It looks like Im going to have to put up with it for a couple of hours...."
Coe checked himself in the Mirror and headed out of his room, on his way to meet the Tholian delegation as part of the Galaxy's senior staff.

Chief Tactical Officer USS Galaxy
And here he was entering the big time. Actual bridge duty. He looked
around admiring the smooth efficiency of the crew going about their
duties. Finally he was captivated by the sight of the main viewscreen a
chance to really see the stars he admired. As he continured to look
around, he saw Lt. Kane move to the center seat and glance his way, he
turned back to his science station. Keeping scanners on passive to
avoid any misintended hostility, he watched closely as the Tholian
run-a-bout crossed the void between ships. Following it's minutest of
movements until it was safely in the shuttle bay. He then turned his
attentions to the readouts of the main Tholian ship.
Oh, how she hated the dress uniform. Ti stood at the mirror making sure everything was in its proper place. She had to be on the bridge in ten minutes. Exploring the ship when she first arrived she found the view from ten-forward spectacular and now wished she was there instead of in this darn uniform.
Ti fidgeted in her place. She was uncomfortable by being here. Then the Tholians arrived. They were a sight to see. As the hatch of the Tholian run-about opened. Five delegates in space suits stepped out.
"Greetings Terrans"
Ti was put on edge. She wondered what the Vulcans thought of being called a Terran. It also reminded her of early 20th century science-fiction, where the Martian steps out of his craft and demands he be taken to the human's leader. She would just have to keep herself in check when around them.

"Ensign Shtik, what is the status of the Tholian vessel and it's runabout?"
"Sir, the Thonlian vessel is maintaining position 1 kilometre off our starboard bow. The runabout is safely aboard."
Good. With the runabout aboard, the Captain could commence negotiations. Kane wondered how long he would have this position.... only time would tell.

Jamson made sure everything was ready in Shuttlebay2 for the arrival of the Tholians. He worked with Lt.Capizzi and Lt.Sterner about last minute details. Soon the Captain and the Senior Staff arrived, except for the Captain everyone looked nervous.
The Captain smiled as he came and said : "You all look very spiffy!" and after glancing around he asked : "Where is Doctor Rousseau?"
"She hasn't arrived yet.she said she was on her way" Jamson said as he handed a PADD back to Capizzi.
After couple of moments the crew moved to the Observation area and waited to the Thoilan's Run-a-boat. Just before the Run-a-boat entered the hanger, Doctor Rousseau joined the crew. Then the moment came, the Senior Staff moved again to the hanger and lined up to greet the Tholian Delegation. The Run-a-boat's hatch opened and five Tholians walked on out.
"Greetings Terrans" the five Tholians said.
There was nothing but silence as the all Senior Staff was standing there stairing at the Five Tholians. It was a beautiful sight, the white light coming out from the Tholians space suits...Jamson felt like he was in a dream, but very quickly he snapped out of it.
He watched Ensign Ti Miran as she looked at the Tholians. She was nervous, he felt it. He wanted to ask her if she feels uncomfortable but he didn't. Not until the Captain will say a few words of Honor.

Entering engineering, Chiron passed by the Sensory input monitor. As he
did, it twittered to life and let out a small warning klaxon. Chiron
quickly shut off the alarm, and observed the monitor. His attention was
drawn to a section of flashing text on the screen telling him that they were
being actively scanned. He called up the specifics on the sensor beam, and
the schematics leapt out at him like a Tarkeelian RazorBeast.
This was no ordinary beam,
Ensign Dana would have to wait...

As Chiron traced the path from the shuttle bay to Main Engineering, he
couldn't help thinking that if someone would have told him two months
ago he'd be serving as the acting chief engineering officer on the flagship
of the Federation, he would have laughed in their face...
