AES INFO

----------------------------------------------------

Allied Electronic Simulations (AES) was founded in August 1997. It is comprised of the what was once the Email division of another group, FSG. (Federation SIM Group) created by Hank Chandless on AOL.

On the USS Galaxy, all of the interaction on board the Starship happens through email exchanged by the crew. Each person participating in the sim gets to create their very own character, which they then can use in their writings to advance the storyline. This enables the participants to bring a greater depth to their characters than normal Star Trek Sims. It puts the accent on character development and creative writing, not rank advancement. It also opens up storylines that could not easily be explored during an on-line sim.

For more information on Allied Electronic Simulations, visit their homepage at:

To become a member of AES and participate on the USS Galaxy, or any of the many other fine Simulations run under AES, you need a desire to participate, and full time access to an internet email account. Access to a WWW webpage browser is also required. Membership in AES is completely free of charge.

Presently the USS Galaxy is not accepting any new writers onto the crew. But please visit AES to find dozens of similar PBeM simulations that would be happy to accept new role players to write with.
